Governance practices

  • Public charity record. NestPilot Foundation Inc. is recognized by the IRS as a 501(c)(3) public charity (EIN 42-1856966).
  • Conflict-of-interest review. Directors and officers disclose conflicts annually and before votes where an outside affiliation could affect judgment.
  • Commercial separation. The Foundation does not sell financial products, does not accept advisor referral fees, and does not use the public charity site to promote commercial LLC offerings.
  • Independent oversight. The board includes independent directors with no family or financial relationship to the founder or to NestPilot LLC. Under the Foundation's conflict-of-interest policy, the independent directors form the authorizing body for any decision involving the affiliated commercial entity.
