NestPilot Foundation is a recognized 501(c)(3) public charity. The board is responsible for charitable purpose, program oversight, conflict-of-interest review, financial stewardship, and maintaining independence from affiliated commercial activity.
John Pan
President and Director
John Pan founded NestPilot Foundation Inc. to make high-stakes retirement-decision literacy free, transparent, and available outside the traditional financial-advice market. He serves as an unpaid officer and director of the Foundation.

Conflict disclosure: John Pan is also the sole member of NestPilot LLC, which develops agentic software for small businesses and nonprofit organizations and licenses its retirement-planning engine to the Foundation royalty-free for non-commercial educational and research use. The Foundation maintains separate finances, separate records, a separate mission, and no referral traffic to LLC commercial properties.

Independent Director
Dr. Liqiang Wang is a Full Professor of Computer Science at the University of Central Florida, where he directs the M.S. in Computer Science program. His research spans artificial intelligence, machine learning, and deep learning, with publications at top venues including CVPR, ICML, and ICLR, and he holds the NSF CAREER Award.

Henry Xiao
Independent Director
Henry Xiao is the founder of CAMEL and brings substantial community-organizing experience to the Foundation and its educational outreach programs. As an independent director, he helps guide the free community-seminar work and outreach to pre-retirees navigating the U.S. retirement system without family precedent.

Governance practices
- Public charity record. NestPilot Foundation Inc. is recognized by the IRS as a 501(c)(3) public charity (EIN 42-1856966).
- Conflict-of-interest review. Directors and officers disclose conflicts annually and before votes where an outside affiliation could affect judgment.
- Commercial separation. The Foundation does not sell financial products, does not accept advisor referral fees, and does not use the public charity site to promote commercial LLC offerings.
- Independent oversight. The board includes independent directors with no family or financial relationship to the founder or to NestPilot LLC. Under the Foundation's conflict-of-interest policy, the independent directors form the authorizing body for any decision involving the affiliated commercial entity.
