Membership
Become a NestPilot Foundation Member
NestPilot Foundation is a recognized 501(c)(3) public charity (EIN 42-1856966). Our retirement-decision tools are free for the public, always — and that is exactly what membership protects. Like public radio or Consumer Reports, we are member-supported: no commissions, no ads, no sales calls. Members fund the free public good; they do not buy special access to it.
Become a NestPilot Foundation Member
$50/year keeps the Foundation independent — no commissions, no ads, no sales calls. Membership is recognition-only: it funds the free public tools, it does not unlock anything. Your dues are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law, and the processor issues an official receipt.
Become a MemberNestPilot Foundation is a 501(c)(3) public charity (EIN 42-1856966), recognized by the IRS effective April 28, 2026. Membership dues are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law; no goods or services are provided in exchange beyond recognition. Consult your tax advisor regarding your specific situation.
A membership, not a paid tier
There is no “Pro tier” to unlock, no premium plan, no upsell, no advisor referral, and no follow-up sales call. Membership never unlocks a feature — every tool stays free for everyone, member or not. What your dues buy is a Foundation that answers to its members instead of to advertisers or commissions.
What members receive
Recognition and connection — never feature unlocks:
- • Listed on the supporters page (with your permission)
- • Foundation impact briefings — the annual tax-table, IRMAA, and ACA changes explained
- • The knowledge that free, independent retirement tools stay that way
Free forever, for everyone
Membership is optional, and it changes nothing about who can use the tools. The four retirement decisions we exist to help with — Medicare timing, Social Security claiming, the Roth-conversion window, and retirement-age viability — along with building a plan, running your forecast, and exporting it, are free for everyone, always, with or without a membership. Membership funds that promise; it is never a price of admission to it.
If the dues are a hardship
The tools are already free for you — membership is only for those who want to help keep them that way. If you would like to support the Foundation but the dues are a hardship, just email john@nestpilot.org.
