About
About NestPilot Foundation
NestPilot Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to making retirement-decision literacy free, transparent, and conflict-free. We build tools, publish plain-language guides, and host community seminars for the millions of Americans navigating Medicare, Social Security, IRMAA, Roth conversion, and tax-efficient withdrawal decisions without a fiduciary advisor.
Mission, vision, and what we do
Our mission is to close the retirement advice gap: make the highest-stakes retirement decisions — Medicare enrollment, Social Security claiming, IRMAA, Roth conversions, and retirement-age viability — understandable and verifiable for everyone, free. Our vision is to become the default educational layer for retirement-decision literacy in the United States. Read the full mission and vision.

Our story so far
NestPilot Foundation is a young organization — founded in 2026 — and we publish our progress openly:
- April 2026 — NestPilot Foundation Inc. is incorporated in Florida. This is also the effective date of our federal tax exemption.
- May 2026 — The IRS recognizes the Foundation as a 501(c)(3) public charity (determination letter dated May 20, 2026). The free public decision tools launch at www.nestpilot.org, and we deliver our first community seminar.
- June 2026 — The Board of Directors expands to five directors, two of them independent. The free decision tools become available inside ChatGPT. Florida charitable-solicitation registration is filed.
- Today — The education library keeps growing and community seminars are scheduled on request. Our first annual IRS filing (Form 990-N) is due May 2027 and our financial summaries will be published here as they are filed.
You can independently verify our tax-exempt status on the IRS Tax-Exempt Organization Search (search EIN 42-1856966) and our Florida registration on Sunbiz.
Independence
NestPilot Foundation Inc. is an independent Florida 501(c)(3) public charity (EIN 42-1856966), funded by donations, grants, and voluntary membership dues. We do not sell financial products, accept commissions or referral fees, run ads, or gate any tool behind a fee. A separate for-profit company, NestPilot LLC — founded by the same founder, and which builds agentic software for small businesses and nonprofit organizations — owns the retirement-planning engine and licenses it to the Foundation royalty-free for non-commercial educational and research use. The two entities keep separate boards, finances, and missions; the Foundation receives no revenue from the LLC and does not promote or link to its products. Director conflict-of-interest disclosures are published on the Board page.
