About NestPilot Foundation

NestPilot Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to making retirement-decision literacy free, transparent, and conflict-free. We build tools, run research, and host community seminars for the millions of Americans navigating Medicare, Social Security, IRMAA, Roth conversion, and tax-efficient withdrawal decisions without a fiduciary advisor.

Dual-entity disclosure

NestPilot Foundation Inc. is a Florida 501(c)(3) public charity (501(c)(3) (filing in progress)). Its mission is to provide free, transparent retirement-planning education and tools to improve public financial literacy. NestPilot LLC is a separate Florida limited liability company, also founded by John Pan, that develops paid retirement-planning software for financial advisors, CPA firms, and individual subscribers.

The two entities are legally distinct and operate independently — separate boards, separate finances, separate missions, separate websites. NestPilot LLC owns the underlying NestPilot software and licenses it to the Foundation royalty-free for non-commercial educational and research use only, so the Foundation can offer enterprise-grade planning tools to the public at no cost.

The Foundation receives no revenue from the LLC, does not promote LLC products, and does not direct traffic to LLC commercial properties. The relationship is governed by a written dual-entity operating-principles document on file with both entities' records, reviewed annually by the Foundation's Board of Directors.
